Open Call Guidelines

  • Artists from any country are welcome to apply with works in any medium: painting, sculpture, digital, printmaking, fiber, photography, mixed media, installation, crafts, fashion, illustration, and more. Selected artists will be featured in Issue 14 set to release at the end of May 2025. Selected artists will be contacted via email for an interview.
  • There is no specific theme for this issue.
  • Must be 18 and over.
  • This is a juried competition, selected artists will be featured in Issue 14 of Divide Magazine.
  • There is a £35 submission fee per application.

    HOW TO APPLY
  • Use the submisison link below to apply.
  • You may submit multiple entries for different projects/works, there is no limit.
  • The deadline to submit all works is April 16th, 2025. Please note that submissions may close prior to this date if capacity is reached. We encourage artists to apply early, as space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Artists may submit up to 3 artworks per project submission.
  • You can enter multiple times and in each submission you will have the opportunity to upload 3 items.
  • Artists must ensure high quality of images, at least 300 dpi jpeg recommended.
    Artwork images and bio must be uploaded directly ( we will not be accepting any works via email)
    Bio must be under 300 words each.

  • Q: What’s the deadline for submissions?
    A: The submission deadline is April 16th, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST or when submission limits have been reached. We encourage artists to submit early in case we have to close the submission portal before the 18th.


  • Q: How many pieces can I submit?
    A: You can submit up to 3 pieces, per application, that best represent your artistic style and vision.


  • Q: What should my artist bio include?
    A: Your bio should briefly cover your artistic journey, key inspirations, and any relevant achievements or exhibitions.


  • Q: Can I update my submission after sending it?
    A: Unfortunately, we cannot accept changes once your submission has been sent, so please review everything carefully before submitting.


  • Q: What happens after I submit?
    A: Our team will review all submissions, and you’ll be notified via email if your work is selected for Issue 14. If you're selected for an interview, we'll email you the interview questions that will need to be submitted before the due date.


  • Q: When will Issue 13 be published?
    A: The release date for Issue 14 is May 31st, 2025.
